WENDRON STAY UP! Wendron CC 1st XI collected 19 points and their sixth win of the season, at Porthleven, and stay in Div.3 West for the 2011 season.
WENDRON'S 1st XI plays in Division 3 (West) of the Cornwall Cricket League. Captain for the 2010 season is John Wearne. The 2nd XI plays in Division 6 (West) and is captained by Steven Varker. The club also enters mid-week cup competitions and has two Mining Division Evening League sides, (captained by Callum Martin and Steve Varker) and an U-13 team.
FORMED in 1949, the club entered the Cornwall Cricket League in 1969. In 1974 Wendron CC topped Cornwall's lowest division and, in the years that followed, progressed to the second highest tier of Cornish cricket.

WENDRON CC also runs its own football teams! Playing as Wendron United FC, the 1st XI competes in the Jolly's Cornwall Combination League. There are three other senior sides and many youth teams.
